Neuroeconomics: Decision Making and the Brain
The Association of American Publishers recently announced the winners of the 2009 American Publishers Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence (the "PROSE Awards"). Neuroeconomics: Decision Making in the Brain by Paul Glimcher, Colin Camerer, Ernst Fehr, and Russell Poldrack received the Award for Excellence in Social Sciences and was the winner in the Economics category. This book is the first edited reference that examines the science behind neuroeconomics, including how it influences human behavior and societal decision making from a behavioral economics point of view.
